Last year wasn’t the best speaking of health. I was focusing in business and my body, skin and energy weren’t at their best.
A couple of months ago I’ve met a wonderful woman who helped me on getting back on track, I’ve spent a weekend taking care of her dog, the cutest and sweet dog I’ve ever met, Mr. Tiny. He and my baby girl Estrella Fulgencia (yes I know…) are buddies and I spent a weekend surrounded by books, superfoods, peace and an amazing energy.

That weekend helped me to focus again on what is worth: health, inner peace, positive thinking and spreading love.
One thing I always recommend to my clients is to have smoothies or bowls for breakfast, are filling, tasty, you can pack it with superfoods and having a healthy breakfast will help you to have more energy and less cravings.
It’s easier to get back on track with simple recipes that will make you thrive.
I’ll not get in too many details about nutrients because I’ll be writing specific posts about the benefits of certain foods, but I can tell you this bowl is filled with antioxidants and my favourite superfood, maca.
In South Mexico is not easy to find freeze açai so I used açai powder, feel free to add your favourite toppings!
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1 frozen banana
1/2 frozen mango
1 tbsp açai powder
1 tsp maca
Toppings of your choice like fresh fruits, cacao nibs, shredded coconut, goji berries, nuts, seeds, chia and so on.
1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
2. Pour into a bowl and add your toppings. Enjoy it!
